The Zoom H4 is a battery or AC powered unit that can do it all!
The Zoom H4 Records and can also Playback what it has recorded on memory.
It records 2 channel stereo on the built in microphones or can use XLR professional microphones or 1/4 " line inputs.
It can also record 4 track recordings that can than be bumped down to open up tracks for more recording, this is like a digital recording studio that you can hold in your hand.
The Zoom H4 records in mp3 or wav formats for CD quality.
2 GB of SD memory is included so the recording can be transfered direct to a computer via USB or a card slot.
For basic recording this unit is not difficult, but for advance usage you will need to read the manual.
It's inputs are 1/8" stereo microphone or RCA line / Phono.
It is best used with a mixer, but the quailty of the recordings are just as good as the Zoom H4.
It records mp3 or wav files to a USB memory stick or also can record direct to a Ipod.
It can connect direct to a turntable and be used to convert records to digital files.
It is supplied with a 2GB SD card in a USB stick converter.
This is a great unit for recording a band from a mixer and is very easy to use.
This is 2 in 6 out unit with a 31 band eq, limiter on each output and much more !
